OUR STORY

The Mid-Ohio Crusaders was founded in 2022 with a simple vision: to create a baseball organization where young athletes could develop their skills, build confidence, compete with purpose, and grow in an environment that values character just as much as championships.

What began as two simple baseball teams quickly grew into a nonprofit organization serving baseball players throughout North Central Ohio. As more families embraced our mission, we expanded to offer opportunities for athletes across multiple age divisions while remaining committed to quality coaching, player development, and a family-focused culture.

In 2026, the Mid-Ohio Crusaders entered an exciting new chapter. We expanded into softball, welcomed new coaches and volunteers, and introduced a refreshed organizational brand that reflected who we are today while staying true to the values on which we were founded.

This rebranding was more than a new look—it represented a renewed commitment to our original mission: putting players first, emphasizing long-term development over short-term success, supporting multi-sport athletes, strengthening our organization through teamwork and accountability, and creating a positive experience for every family.

Today, the Mid-Ohio Crusaders is proud to be one unified organization serving both baseball and softball athletes. While our teams continue to grow, our purpose remains unchanged—to develop confident athletes, strong teammates, and young leaders who will make a positive impact both on and off the field.

As a nonprofit organization, we are powered by dedicated volunteers, passionate coaches, supportive families, generous sponsors, and community partners who believe in investing in the next generation. Every practice, game, fundraiser, sponsorship, and volunteer hour helps create opportunities that extend far beyond the field.
